A main reason for the rapid spread of obesity in recent decades is the lack of movement and exercise. Gold’s Gym could dramatically improve membership sales by targeting people that are struggling with Overweight or obesity. However, most people that are overweight and obese do not feel comfortable going to the gym because of receiving unwanted attention and embarrassment. Therefore, Gold’s Gym needs to adapt their gyms to make it more suitable for people that struggle with overweight or obesity issues.

This will put Gold’s Gyms over the top because they will be able to cater to the more specific needs of those who need that extra guidance to make sure that they are on a path to a better overall wellness. Incorporating nutrition class to Gold’s Gyms across the nation will help to better improve the quality of our gyms. So many times, people want to diet, but they do not know the necessary and proper steps to doing so. These classes will not only get them on the path to healthier eating but also allow them to have others doing the same thing with them. It will allow groups to have accountability partners to help encourage each other to do better. As far as revenue is concerned, nutrition classes will increase our membership. By adding trained staff who have a degree in nutrition, this will encourage people to want to know more about healthy eating and how to change their diets. It will help people gain a basic knowledge of a better diet instead of going to the gym and then going to eat a burger with a large order of fries and a
