Before coming to Full Sail University, I had encountered many obstacles. One in particular placed so much doubt in my mind and made me question if this was what I truly wanted to do, or who I wanted to become. Leave my family that is grieving over our loved one, or follow my dreams that my grandmother wanted to see being achieved? This was the hardest decision, each passing day tore me in two and knowing that both of you have doubts about this career choice, because you don’t see what it does and can do. What I’ve faced is similar to her, yet different as well this female artist started at the bottom and slowly worked her way to the top.

Many people from my cohort and I keep in touch, sharing stories from our diverse teaching experiences, giving each other advice, and congratulating each other on our achievements. Though it would be different to be part of an online cohort, I believe this will be a positive difference as it will allow me to learn from others from even more diverse situations. My approach to art education continues to align directly with that of OSU’s, as I strive to foster social change and advance public interest through the arts and visual culture. Having this connection to the Department of Arts Administration, Education and Policy, and having already experienced some of the exceptional education it has to offer, I am confident that this is the only program through which I wish to receive my Master’s
During my high school career I have made a consistent effort to stay involved in both my school and community. Through clubs such as Key Club, National Art Honor Society, and National Honor Society I’ve been able to help out locally and globally in an abundance of ways. In Key club and NHS I am able to volunteer in traditional ways, but National Arts Honors Society allows me to contribute to my community and school in a creative way that stimulates people 's minds through art. Due to these activities having a significant impact on my life my future career options are based around what I have learned from them.
I have chosen Architecture as my academic interest because I have always been interested in designing and creating. Even more I am able to further my education in all my interest; including art, history and science. I can also see myself being an Architect in the future because
Oh my gosh Diary, You will not believe what has happened. Yes… you guessed it. I have escaped. Turns out Oakenshield was also locked by Elevenking as a prisoner and the creepy shadow was actually the hobbit.

Growing up with a sibling who has autism is very eye opening. I have learned a lot about autistic children over the years that will hopefully someday help me in my future career. Once I figured out my major, I decided I wanted to attend Illinois State University. I am a person who strives for the best in everything and I knew that Illinois State University has one of the best teaching programs.
I collaborated with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physiotherapists to provide early intervention care and support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities. I continued working similarly with children in a school as a counselor for four years. I learned about the challenges students face in a mainstream setup that puts emphasis on curriculum based general learning. The students coming to me would actively seek skilled based activities and loved art based tools in their sessions. To enhance my skills and have working tools that included art, I pursued a diploma in Arts Based Therapy.
During my job shadow with Ms. Eileen Chalupa on Doane’s Campus I learned how to be creative, come up with my own style of graphic designing, and most importantly to never give up or lose hope on a project that someone has asked for. Her job is the head graphic designer at Doane University. Some questions that I asked her during the job shadow were what are some positive aspects and negative aspects of working as a graphic designer, are the hours flexible for the job and another question I asked was what training did she do to get ready for this type of work and if it required any type of education to complete. One of the reasons she chose this career was because her mother went through the desktop publishing program at Southeast Community
Looking back on how music became what it is today, there are many significant influences through culture, society, and even religion. One particular impact that changed how the US perceives the rock music genre, is the British Invasion. Ties can be made to today’s music as well, elaborating into the newly popular Adele, Ed Sheeran, Mumford and Sons, and One Direction along with many other UK comrades. But what exactly is the British Invasion and how do these events actually tie into popular music in the United States at our current point in music?
Design Technology’s Impact on the Graphic Design Industry Graphic design is a visual communication methodology and problem solving using type, space and image. It is a subset of communication design and visual communication. Graphic designers use typography, page layout and visual art techniques to produce their final results. Technological innovation has affected the graphic design industry in America among other countries. In today’s world, technology has been applied in people’s lives either as socialization or as a working tool.
In the 20th century, Graphic Design evolved and changed for the better in many ways. During this century, many prominent Graphic Designers emerged and changed everything that was known about graphic design with their revolutionary works. Also, general ideas about art changed and art was developed for different reasons, like propaganda posters. First, I will discuss the new graphic design in the early 20th century.
