When someone says “Presidential” the mobile app “Twitter” probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind. Donald Trump the current US president uses twitter at least everyday to share his views and thoughts with the world just like everyone else on the social media platform. The only thing is Trump is the president with the whole world watching. Social media platforms such as Twitter are the Medium that trump chooses to send his message through, (CH.1 pg 5-7) But some have mixed feelings when it comes to Trump using a social media platform to get his views across but also some of the messages he choses to send. A few weeks back Trump retweeted some videos that cause quite an uproar from not only the left but some in his own party as well. Trump is the president so everyone should be able to see what he posts from his presidential account (Ch 2 Pg 37) If he choses to block people on his personal account that should be fine because he is a citizen and has the right to the same freedoms as us, meaning if he feels unsafe or bullied by a certain account then he can block them. Someone just needs to monitor his public and personal to help make sure he seems presidential at all times. I think his social media accounts and the messages he sent out during the election played a huge role in him being elected. He was able to connect with millennials using twitter as well as older people (Ch2 Pg 37) In conclusion I don't think trump uses his power on social media for evil like the left portrays but that he just wants the people to see his views and beliefs or why he stands where he does on some
