The environmental effects of fossil fuels have become a concern that is continually rising worldwide. Currently the society is experiencing a dangerous climate change, due to factors such as the acid rain, air pollution and global warming which are some of the consequences of the use of fossil fuels, especially for power generation since the 75% of energy has been produced by them. On the other hand, Coal with a 54% followed by uranium with a 27% have made part of Australia’s energy production generating greenhouse gas emissions and despite an increase in renewable energy supplies in the country. The used of fossil fuels have created environmental and economy impacts in Australia, due to these are considered not only the cause of the current …show more content…
Solar and wind have become gradually sources of energy in the world as they have reduced costs and solutions to pollution and climate change are being searching by governments. The growth levels of solar radiation and land leave Australia as one of the main countries in the world for solar energy, it means that the environmental impact of solar in the country is minimal in many ways because due the extensive space the country has to install a large-scale solar systems those are reducing the systems that are distributed or created by households generating a lessening in transported power which means as well a reduction in electromagnetic which affects environment. On the other hand, Australia has several areas such as the western Victoria, the northern Tasmania and Queensland that have beneficial wind resources included wind farms which have increased from 68 in 2013 to 77 in 2015 and due to the energy is generated in its own construction and there is no other energy converge system that occupy less land area per kilowatt hour of the energy produced, the greenhouse emissions and pollution does not have an strong impact on
