You will see from my resume attached, that I have completed a Bachelor of Business Marketing from RMIT University and have experience working in the government sector with my Sales and Marketing role at Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust. My position was within the Corporate Events and Hospitality Team and was a five month Maternity Contract that was hands on in assisting the organisation role out their 2015 and 2016 Australian Open Marketing plan. My role was cross functional across the small organisation and worked across different aspects of the business ranging from sponsorship, membership recruitment and retention, volunteer coordination, merchandise and community participation growth. I thrived in this role for its diversity and for its ability to allow me to engage with the wider netball community in breading a passion for the sport I was hands on in attending events and promoted them via our internal and external communication channels. In addition to attending events I assisted with post event reporting and worked with the event coordinator to respond to event feedback from our members in a liaison role for the organisation. I was financially responsible for the companies merchandise program and reported on this after each event so to update our database with new members signed on at events. This required confidence to use our internal financial systems and membership
