Pharaoh Hatshepsut was an Egypt female leader and ruled Egypt around 1478-1458.I will therefore compare Tang empress wu zetian with pharaoh Cleopatra on their basis of ascent to power, method of rule, their achievements and resourcefulness and their similarities and differences. From the age of eighteen, until her death twenty-two years later at age thirty-nine, Cleopatra VII was the ruler of Egypt. She fought with her estranged brother Ptolemy XIII’s advisers for many years and was forced to build up her own army. Cleopatra was up for the challenge. She was more than willing to present herself to many Roman rulers, such as Julius Caesar. These acts of hers characterized her reign and her attempt to keep her kingdom as an ally of Rome.
Cleopatra lived a very significant life, through manipulation, seduction, and cleverness she managed to be successful through not only her life, but also her reign as one of the most well-known pharaohs of Egypt. Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator was born in Egypt during the year 69 BCE, and was a” descendent of a Macedonian general” who attended to “Alexander the Great”, her family ruled for a long time and had a lot of power(Jarus). She is one of the most well-known women in history, and lived a very significant life. She ruled a large portion of Egypt for twenty-two years, beginning her reign at the young age of eighteen, and ruling until her death at age thirty-nine (Schiff 1).
Cleopatra is probably one of the most recognised figures from the ancient world, she was represented in many different ways and we could find number of historians who wrote about her. (‘Surpassing beauty she was, young, most striking women, being brilliant to look upon and to listen to’). (Dio in AA100 Assignment booklet 2015, p.20), that’s how Cassius Dio the roman historian (born.16, died after 229CE) described the main features of the Egyptian queen, Dio also presented condensed version of a speech Octavian is presented as giving to his army before the battle of Actium between Octavian on the one hand and Mark Antony and Cleopatra on the other, in this speech Cleopatra is presented as a fatal influence on Antony, she is temptation personified and Antony is incapable of resistance,(‘He is either blind to reason or mad, for I have heard and can believe that he is bewitched by that accursed woman’).(AA100 Book 1 Reading 1.1 Augustus on Cleopatra, p.27).
When Cleopatra’s father died, the throne was passed down to her and her and her brother, just like her father wanted. When her father died when she was eighteen and her brother who ruled with her, was ten yeats old.
At the age of eighteen, Cleopatra life turn upside with her father debt to Rome. Landing on small troops in Alexandria, Egypt. Thirty years older than Cleopatra, Julius Caesar, a Roman leader who gave pride in battles and seem to strategies his ways in that he was presented by Pompey’s head in once he steps onto shore of the Rubicon River. Egypt was in a conflict of a leader between two older siblings in a family feuds for next in line for the throne. Rome needed Egypt because its grain supplies and a have Egypt stable.
She still needed to go against Ptolemy XIII, and there was the fact that female rulers were seen as weak and incapable of managing an entire Empire, so Cleopatra had to devise a very carefully and meticulously made plan to take control. She decided to marry her brother as she ruled internally, and he was seen as the man sitting on the throne. In the end, she ruled with her brother (Nardo). This entire process of betraying her own siblings and going against them shows her devotion, strength, and capabilities as being an incredible and fascinating ruler.
Of course, Goody Two-Shoes is, as always, completely supportive of everything that he shares with her.. In return, he appreciates her undivided attention and even gifts her with wondrous trips to the theater. She’s, obviously, delighted to miss a week of school as long as she stays with her “papa”. Oh, Annika! You’re so blindsided you don’t even realize that our father’s job is what’s keeping us out of school.
Cleopatra VII, daughter of Pharaoh Ptolemy XII, was born into royalty. As her

As a hands-on ruler, she listened to her people's grievances, acted as the chief judge, and punished corrupt government officials. Cleopatra not only stabilized the economy within a year but also successfully commanded the army and navy. Additionally, she established an informal communication network and engaged in public diplomacy to gain favor with foreign audiences. However, the court was not pleased with her independent attitude and was upset that she made quick decisions and acted on them without their approval. The chief advisor eventually overthrew her and placed Ptolemy XIII on the throne, believing he would be easier to control.
Good evening,It's my honor to stand here and give you a speech. I'm Phyllis. I'm here to talk to you about the importance of praise. No matter praise others or ask for other's praise.
And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, those who are called according to his purpose. Patricia: Thank you son for the tea. By the way, I am not going to buy you a bible with your name on it, you have a bible, so, if you want one with your name on it, pay for it when you get your reward, that’s fair.
Their reign unfortunately came to an end when the Roman senate declared war on Egypt. Antony stabbed himself while Cleopatra was bitten by an asp, an Egyptian cobra. “My honour was not yielded, but conquered merely” (“Quotes About Cleopatra (28 quotes).” (28 quotes), www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/cleopatra) shows that she was not disappointed or regretful in her doings, which is a strong trait of a
