Importance and benefits of managing this diversity There is prescription that a company could apply to be successful, therefore it depends on the capability of the leader to sort out what is best to the organisation based on the level of productivity of the workplace. Leaders and managers should know and recognise skills that are vital in creating a positive and effective diverse workforce. One day session of training and programs is inadequate to change a person’s behaviour and styles, therefore the company need continuous development, implementation and maintaining trainings and awareness foundation. The welfare of having a diverse workforce is that it brings a unique standpoint to the company.

Oakwood’s diversity management program measures its effectiveness of the management through a process called AA/EEO. AA/EEO stands for Affirmative Action/ Equal Employment Opportunity that prohibits the perception and discernment of anyone. The Equal Employment Opportunity ensures that throughout the hiring process, every person, regardless of their race, will have a fair chance.

Diversity management promotes good management practices, and it also prevents discrimination, and promotes inclusiveness.
Right now a debate is occurring about whether not we should ratify the Constitution. This is an important moment in our country's history because this is the moment where we could unify and become a government or we could disapprove of the Constitution and have troubles between the country. The Articles of Confederation were not very credible because it gave the states too much power; which were too weak. The debts were not getting payed and the country was in great trouble. The Constitution would let the power will lie with the wealthy men, and not give the power to the states to raise money to pay off debt; the country will still remain in debt if we ratify the Constitution.
Have you ever imagined a great America again? One where our diversity made us the greatest country as it once was. Our actions and attitude can make America the great country it one was, so that all of our diversity that makes up our country is accepted. Our country was based on “the melting pot.” Also our country was compared as “the heirs of all time.”
Diversity in America If you were to travel to any city in America, you would notice diversity. America is a country built from immigrants. Everyone with different ethnicities, backgrounds, and stories to tell.
Martin Luther King had a dream when he said these words. A dream, which if it were to become a reality, would lead to a greater society with a higher respect for its diverse and multicultural population. Although Martin Luther King was an American and his speech was referring to America, Australia could greatly benefit if these dreams were to become reality. Diversity and multiculturalism are vital and valuable aspects of our Australian culture. Today in class we talked about America and if we cherish diversity. At first the majority of the class said “yes” including myself, but as we finished our debate most of us had gone from “yes” to “no.” Also, in the articles we read in class earlier last week, Patel states that even though Washington had slaves, MLK junior still looked up to him as a great leader, he also states that Washington wanted America to stand for something different. McGregor does not believe America cherishes diversity because she wanted Oscars and acting academy’s to be more equal… most academy awards were given to white males on top of not having even one female in the directing industry. As a member of the LGBT community, I see America through the eyes of someone who has had to struggle to gain acceptance from others and themselves. When you are gay or transgender not everyone is going to accept or understand you, but you have a chance to be who you are because in America you can build your own path. To me, Americans are like phoenixes; we can rise from the ashes of our pasts, and build ourselves up creating our own sense of liberty and freedom. I grew up in a traditional Christian household, so I was very sheltered as a child. When it came to anything the church thought was a sin, I was never told about it, so I didn’t know what being gay meant until I was 12 years old.
