My high school experience was a long frustrating learning experience. I didn’t know what to expect, or what i was getting myself into. Nobody gave me the tools to understand the main focus of each year. I am going to give you tips and advice on how to succeed in high school. I will discuss 9-12th grade along with what to expect each year. Freshman year I am critically going to provide the importance of your first year. The first year your grade point average (GPA) depends on the grades you make each year. Your first year is the base for the next four years. Always remind yourself to be on top of your grades and set annual goals. Take advantage of the time spent in class as usually you can finish homework if you are on task. Senior year The last year is complex. A lot of important things are happening be alert. New freedom is presented such as bringing your vehicle, leaving campus for lunch, off periods, Homecoming, Prom etc. Be responsible they are privileges. Classes will stress you out. Maintain a schedule and manage your time or seniorites will break you .Which is a common feeling for Seniors where they feel like giving up and not following through with their goals. The College and career center. You will be spending good amounts of time there. With Financial Aid (FAFSA) which you apply in order to know if the government thinks your applicable to supply you with money for college. On top of that college applications and submissions. Ultimately graduation will come that would include you to buy a cap and gown, take senior pictures.
