Isaiah was born Born October 25th, 1993 in Fresno, California.
Growing up his biological father wasn’t around therefore he established a great relationship with his stepfather Ben Green.
He began playing basketball through a youth program entitled Little Hoopsters when he was four years old, that was when he first fell in love with the game and his dream began.
During his sixth grade year his family moved to Minnesota when his mom was offered a promotion. He began to play for his first major AAU team during that year. He was truly challenged for the first time in his early basketball career.
The first sign of him possibly having Marfan Syndrome occurred just after his team won the AAU State title. Isaiah went to the doctor for routine

That was when the streak of eye injuries occurred. Throughout junior high and high school he would have six different eye surgeries to repair damage.
In his high school years, Isaiah committed to Baylor University as well as officially became blind in one eye as he received a prosthetic eye.
During his freshman season at Baylor, the only thing he could think about was getting to the NBA. Therefore, he struggled and his team struggled as well. They lost games they should have one and ultimately the missed out on the NCAA tournament.
After his first season in college, he left Baylor to enter the draft. Unfortunately during a pre-draft workout he tore his labrum in his shoulder. Due to his injury he would not be a lottery pick in the draft. He made the decision to return to Baylor and improve his game.
His sophomore season at Baylor was a lot better than his first season. He was more focused on the season rather than the draft the next year. His team played better and they ended up making the NCAA tournament that year.
Once the season ended, Isaiah declared for the upcoming draft. He put in countless hours in the gym and the future was bright for him in the draft. He was predicted to go in the first round as a lottery pick. His dream was going to come
