In chapter 5, Jackie Robinson and Larry Dobby, two players from the all-black Negroes Leagues, and had finally been accepted in the major-league baseball. And they were Walter’s most favorite players in the league. The president, Harry S. Truman was negotiating with black leaders to integrate the armed forces.
