The history of lacrosse is a topic that not many people know about even if they play the sport. The sport of lacrosse and its history is a very interesting subject. There is a plethora of information that people would not know unless they looked further into the topic. The sport of lacrosse was first played by the native americans in the 1600s with the first record of games being played in 1936 by the huron indians. In my research i also found that many people have not even seen the sport being played. Its seems like the sport is very misunderstood, the game of lacrosse over the years has built a widespread number of player and views as the college game continues to grow. According to Insider sport in 2013 they said that lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in North america. As Well as the game having a large following for the field game but also the box version of the game spreading from more northern parts of america and canada.
