In the handout, titled “Law Enforcement Code of Ethics”, a code of ethics that law enforcement is to abide by was created by the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Although it is expected of officers to follow the guideline that is provided to them, perpetually doing so flawlessly is simply not realistic.
