INTRODUCTION: In my paper and with in my research I hope to find a job that would be best for me. I think the purpose of this is to get us ready for our future and to help us know what career would be best for us to pursue, to help us choose classes for high school and collage. I already know what I really want to do, but it is nice to have something to help me understand more of what I would be doing and what all I would need to know in order to pursue my job. SURVEY RESULTS: My surveys and career clusters told me that I should either be in Government And Public Administration or Law, Public Safety Corrections And Security. A couple of things lawyers do is, represent clients in court,presents evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation, interprets laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses, and a lot more. Lawyers often work about 70 hours a week. Hours and work times change and are different for every day and every client they have as well as how experienced they are. The average annual wage for a lawyer is $138,470 and an experienced lawyer is $208,000. The average hourly wage is $66.57 an hour, but the experienced hourly wage is $100 an hour. This career has good pay and would be something I would enjoy doing, which is good because most people are forced to do jobs they don't like and they don't get paid very much for. One program I will need to take is a pre-law program, which will prepare me for my professional studies. Another program I will take is just regular law, this will help prepare me to work independently and professionally while also practicing things like the judicial components of civil and criminal law. I might also take the program for law and legal studies, which is a more advanced level of law. The hours for an average student at Campbell is from 9:00am- 5:00pm. I currently have a college fund savings account already. Me and my brother each have our own accounts. My parents put an even amount of money into each of our accounts and they help us get some of the money, but me and my brother have saved a lot our self. I have talked to my parents about college a lot. They know I want to be a lawyer and they like the idea of me being a lawyer, and we have been talking about collage a lot recently, and about how hard I am going to have to work to be able to accomplish our goals.
