What makes a leader? In today's world a leader is smart, responsible, brave, well spoken, respected, understanding, empathetic, aware, attentive, honest, trustworthy, helpful, loyal, encouraging, including, kind, caring, accepting, and honorable. Living up to this criterion is quite difficult, but staying poise under pressure is key to being successful. It all comes down to time management. All my life I believe I somehow live up to most of this criteria. When I began school I was labeled a gifted child and was then put into the alpha program around second grade. In third grade I joined book club and created a board game on a book titled "guinea dog" by Patrick Jennings, with a fellow friend. In fifth grade I joined the academics team I knew most every question and I told my teammates because we agreed on one to two people to buzz in there fore I didn’t want to be responsible out of turn or seem over controlling. We tied in second place with another school, and when it came time for the tiebreaker our buzzer was slow we did buzz in but we ended up buzzing in a few seconds after them, thusly putting us in third place. While in third or fourth grade we were asked to write an essay for the ledger about FCAT sadly I tied with a fifth grade boy. In fifth grade I was selected for the elementary showcase and learned to play steel drums at Florida Southern College. My highest personal achievement is how many people I have talked out of suicide and cutting, the fact that I changed their lives for the better is the greatest accomplishment to …show more content…

Lots of people say I love too much; but I believe that you can never love too much. Sometimes my mom, and certain friends get slightly frustrated because they don’t understand that I CANNOT abandoned people who do me wrong I refuse to make people feel alone. Everyone can trust me with anything. I’m very helpful, when people are in time of need I’m always there for people to lean on. Most arguments that break out between my nieces and my brother are usually settled by me to save my mom the trouble of having to put up with it
