The History of Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 in Vinci, Italy. He later on died on May 2, 1519 in Amboise, France.His primary type of artwork is drawing, sculpture, and painting. The material he used were oils, pigment, and bristle brushes. The period of art he was from was the High Renaissance time. The High Renaissance is the period of visual art in Italy and it a period traditionally taken to begin in the 1490s.

Leonardo da Vinci wasn’t just a good artist he was an inventor, scientist, engineer, writer,etc. He also became an expert in the anatomy of the human body.
