Ever heard of Leonardo da Vinci? He is a really important guy and has made some pretty famous stuff. I'm sure you have heard of some of his inventions, paintings, or just him in general. He was born on April 15th, 1452. That’s a long time ago. He was a scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician, and writer. That’s a lot of things. He seems like one of the most talented people to me. He was a very smart guy. He studied the laws of science and nature. Because he studied these things it helped him in his work, and form his many works. His work and projects have influenced many other people. He has inspired some people to paint or be an engineer. He was a leading role for people during the Italian Rennasance. He is mostly known for his painting as I said before. Even though he seems so famous he really only had less than two dozen paintings that helped him get his fame and recognition. He painted The Vitruvian Man in 1490. This painting was a male figure and didn’t get as famous as the next one we are going to talk about. He also painted The Last Supper, which he painted in 1495. This painting took 3 years to complete! That’s a long time, even for a painting. In The Last Supper, it shows the emotion that the twelve apostles had. The emotion was when Jesus told them that one of the twelve was going to betray him. It had great facial expressions and body expressions, which made it a lot
