Upon many differences the Minor League and Major League both share the same rule book. Not only do they share the same rules book, but they were both established around the same time period. The first National League soon began in 1876, only seven years later the first minor league "club" began. Then, in 1883, both the Minor and Major began as leagues under the same National agreement, this was before the American League existed. One of those differences is that the Major League has thirty teams from big cities that compete and only one level of talent. Not to mention that the Minor league has 20 leagues and 246 teams, and instead of one talent level, the Minor league has six different talent levels, from AAA to Rookie. Although many Major League games are watched by large televised audiences, the Minor League fan base is more meek ball crowds.
