Martin Luther King Jr. was a very amazing man that had done a lot of amazing things. He was born in 1929 and was assassinated in 1968 (Martin Luther King Jr.). He was a Baptist minister and social activist and was involved in the American civil rights movement. His dream made an impact on so many people that most of segregation was finally put to rest. In the “I Have A Dream Speech”, he stated that he wanted little black boys and girls to come together with little white boys and girls to join together. In the “I Have A Dream Speech” by Martin Luther King Jr., it states, “Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed”. All Dr. king wanted was freedom for all of the colored skinned people. He was tired of getting treated like dirt so he decided to do something about it. He was born on January 15, 1929. His father’s name was also Michael and he was a pastor at Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church (By: Christopher Klein). They had traveled to Germany and became inspired by Martin Luther.
