My Leadership Philosophy
Throughout history, many individuals have been identified as either great leaders or awful leaders. One question will always remain, what makes an individual a leader? With every diverse leadership philosophy, also originating will be the identification of what an individual believes to be true for specific character attributes that make leaders great leaders. Like everyone else in this world, I too have my own leadership philosophy. My leadership philosophy will be different from the next individuals’ philosophy. More importantly good leaders can also identify that the end state of being a good leader is for someone to take your place. When you are a great leader your job is to teach and develop skills, morals, values, compassions, considerations, cultures, and intellect; in order for the next generation to carry on the same leadership attributes and characteristics. Leaders also must understand that if they do not care, they are ultimately programming the next generation for failure. With compassion and effort young leaders start to develop the same devotion for the next generation. Some of the greatest mentors and leaders I had, have let me fail in some way shape or form. They were there to guide me when I failed, but ultimately my leaders always made sure I chose the hard left over the easy right. My leaders were always making sure I understood the importance of taking the time out to logically analyze all problems before generating any solutions. Some other great traits my leaders instilled in me was the devotion to lead others, setting the example that was set for me, empathy, always enforce standards, never to be selfish, and to always share my experience to set the next young leaders up for the same successes in life.
