My Philosophy Statement

Ten years from now seems like a long time, but in reality its just around the corner. When I was asked where I see myself in ten years, I didn’t know what to say. I would like to know exactly where I stand, but i'm not entirely sure. I have goals for the future, but everyone does, and I know that I need to work towards my goals to be able to fully reach them. Student teacher. That’s where I would say I see myself in ten years. When i'm older I would like to be a teacher. So in ten years I would see myself as a student teacher. I would be learning about what it takes to be a teacher. Putting in the time and effort to make an improvement in kids daily lives. Changing kids lives for the better, that's my goal. Everyone’s trying to get into the high school of their choice. If you were to ask me where I see myself going so high school I would say that I see myself going to Ronald Reagan High School. I want to go to Reagan because it's a really good school that has all the classes I would want to take to become a teacher. For example; I would need to take, two years of music, three years of science, three and a half years of social studies, four years of language arts and math. Then four years of world language, and I would like to travel when I'm older. I want to go somewhere like Venezuela, Costa Rica, or Spain. The question now would be when would I travel, when would I have the time. After high school would be the perfect time. I would travel and learn more about other people, and places. This will help me with my long term goal, because if I travel I will have more background knowledge that will be helpful for accomplishing my goal of becoming a teacher. The college I have in mind is UW Madison. The reason I would like to go to UW Madison is because it's a great college that would get me ready with all the skills I would need to become a teacher, and would make me face the challenges I would need to face when I would be a
