After carefully reviewing NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and Statement of Commitment I first analyzed its Conceptual framework, it sets forth the responsibilities as a childcare personnel & the professional responsibilities of childcare workers including childcare leaders as well the code of conduct framework of professional responsibilities. Furthermore it’s separated into four sections, however each section covers the following area as a professional relationships with any children that personnel come in contact with whether they attend the childcare center or contact during trips & or picking the children up from school, relationships with families in & out of the childcare center, professional relationship among colleagues, and relationships & interactions amongst the community and society. Each section also includes but not limited to an introduction with the primary responsibilities as an early childhood education practitioner & or personnel regardless of what position the childcare worker may hold in that context. Abstract As early childhood educators, we the teachers have differing philosophies and approaches to education of our own. There are many different types of early childhood programs. Each program is unique in its philosophies, methods, and program goals. The 12 characteristics that she talks about are: passion, perserverence, willingness to take risks, pragmatism, patience, flexibility, respect, creativity, authenticity, love of learning, high energy, and sense of humor. Passion is very important when wanting to be an early childhood educator, possibly more so than anyother profession. While it is important to love what you are doing an any job, so that you want to keep doing and excelling at a job, it is very important with early childhood educating since you are working with young impressionable children, and helping to shape their learning path and outlook on life. Introduction In early childhood education, it is important for teachers to always consider and understand children and the families’ needs. Early childhood teachers cannot only work with their colleagues to face children and the families’ needs but also need to work with multi-disciplinary to collaborate the ideas with each other and discuss the best outcome for the children and the families in early childhood education setting together. So, the more explanation about the multi-disciplinary team is that teachers with different professionals such as psychologists, child social worker, police, adult social worker, health visitor or court working together to provide different services and support for children and the families’ needs. They are diverse professional groups who work together in order to collaborate, reflect, access and support children’s development, health and learning and also families' needs.
The important reason to makes a good and professional early childhood educator is to communicate with children and try to understand them. I did not have any working experience in kindergarten, but I have some experience of taking care of a child due to my mother is a babysitter. The child that my mother takes care is a boy and he’s autism. He is a child that sometimes like lives in his own world and sometimes he is also hyperactive. He likes to sing, dance and write.
