As a prospective member of the Masters of Arts in History program at Liberty University I hope to accomplish several things. I am currently serving as a high school history teacher and this program will benefit both my students and myself alike in the foreseeable future. This includes reaching the goals of earning my master’s degree which will result in a higher level of professional knowledge in my content area, while increasing my income simultaneously. This is not the only positive factor, Liberty’s program will also contribute directly to growth in regards to my relationship with Jesus Christ.
I see myself being an engaged member of the WCU and Brinson Honors College community by being involved in community service opportunities, becoming a member of leadership organizations, and taking advantage of opportunities to study and serve in a different country or to participate in undergraduate studies. I plan to be engaged in the WCU community by being involved in all that I can be involved in. Specifically, I hope to become involved in at least one of the faith-based groups on campus, such as the Baptist Student Fellowship at WCU or the Campus Crusade for Christ. Becoming involved in faith-based organizations is important to me and will allow me to love God and love people better by learning more about God and participating in service projects that will share his love and truth. Additionally, I want to join a local Church family, where I hope to serve in various aspects of the Church, especially those that involve children, something that I am passionate about.
My childhood was not most would consider to be easy. Both my mother and father had addiction issues that forced my younger brother and I to care for ourselves. By the time I reached the fifth grade, I had attended five different elementary schools. On the days that I did actually go to school, I was not on time. A few years later, I moved in with my grandparents, and my entire life improved.
I have always retained a keen passion in learning about medicine and dreamed about becoming a pediatrician. As I learned more about NYU, I fell more in love with the university, aspiring to one day step into the halls of the school and make my mark. I believe it was the perfect place for me to start my pre-medical studies into one day becoming a doctor. When I first ventured in and around NYU in New York City, my eyes sparkled at the marvel of the campus. It is not one's typical campus.
As I near my final semesters at NDSU and look towards graduate school I can’t help but try and summarize my time here. I have learned so much about my passion for design and the potential I have to do great things thanks to the education NDSU has provided me. In truth I have never really lived the “real college experience” because that is not what I want to remember when I look back at my collegiate experience. I don’t want to remember the parties I went to, I want to remember the late nights spent in studio chasing a design, the hours spent with my friends and peers working through architecture problems, and the connections I’ve made with faculty members in the architecture department who’ve become almost a second family. My interest for The University of Texas derives from my interest in the Architecture program. The past summer I had the opportunity to participate in the Architecture Academy at the University of Texas and the overall experience solidified my interest in Architecture and the overall University. I appreciated the sense of being able to have a small college in a rather large school. I enjoyed exploring Austin’s culture and I was drawn to the art and music of the City.
One of the factors that has attracted me to NYU is the interdisciplinary nature of the University. The University contains multiple schools that foster a converging community dedicated towards creating innovation. From the Steinhardt School of Business to the Tisch School of Fine Arts to the Tandon School of Engineering to the College of Arts and Science to many more, NYU helps create innovation through the multitude of studies and the interaction of its students. For me, the benefit of having multiple perspectives has helped me in my own work and given me a longing to help others in the field of Neural Science.
A goal of mine is to become a(n) preschool teacher. I love being around children and I would like to be an influence on them. Teaching is not for everyone, but I would be honored to be a part of it. SCSU can help me accomplish my goal by giving the the opportunity to learn there. I have read that they have an excellent education program.
NYU is a research university that furnishes students with assets to do their exploration. New York City is one of the best urban areas where students long for procuring their professional education alongside the city encounter. The area of study that I will seek after is Pharmacy since I want to perceive signs and manifestations of diseases that might be utilized as a part of a biological attack and also, pharmacists enhance prescription adherence. I choose NYU on the grounds that it is one of my dream universities to go to and help the community. I hope to be one of the students from NYU to find a cure and spread the great name of the university.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my application for the doctoral program at Florida Atlantic University. My interest in education began at a young age out of necessity. My upbringing was humble, and I was fortunate to have a healthy environment conducive to my education. However, that was the extent of my parents’ support.
Why NYU? For me, the answer is simple. New York University is a school that not only offers exceptional academic programs but also a wonderfully unique student experience one of the most diverse cities in the US. In particular, I am enthralled by the MCC/GPH combined major because it has everything I could ever want in a major. It sets me up for the career I would like to have and even teaches me how to have an positive impact on the world.
The University of San Francisco MS in Financial Analysis will provide me ample opportunity to become one step closer to my short and long-term professional goals. As a current engineering technology student at Northern Illinois University participating in Division I athletics, I have learned about myself in these past couple years and what I hope to become. With an industrial and management engineering technology degree, I have learned many applied and practical engineering principles and how to efficiently and effectively manage a business and its employees. The diverse knowledge gained in my undergrad, in conjunction with my work experience, offers me significant leverage over my future classmates and colleagues in the business field.
NYU has always been my dream school, since I was in the 6th grade and had first started looking at colleges. Having lived in a small city my whole life, NYU seems like the perfect getaway to open my eyes to a more diverse culture than the simple one I have at home. My family has always been about staying local and l want to break that mold. I want my college education to be at a place that is advanced, innovative, and cultural, which describes the atmosphere at NYU. I want to be challenged and learn from the best, which I believe will happen at NYU.
The heart of New York City is New York University. By joining the network of NYU, I will be able to study at an institution that has a long tradition of academic excellence among private universities in the United States. Additionally, I will be able to be part of an internationally recognized learning network with locations all across the globe. It would be a pleasure to study at a globally recognized university. A friend of mine who is a recent graduate from NYU College of Nursing has praised the program and conveyed to me a very positive experience.
