I believe I would be a perfect fit in the National Honor Society for many reasons. The first being my work ethic and drive to be the absolute best I can possibly be. I know that I will outwork anyone because of me fear of failure, and this will lead me to success. I may not be the most outspoken or extroverted candidate, but I know I lead by example. I'd rather stay quiet and on the hunt for success, rather than talk up myself and not truly mean what I say. When people see the hours I put into everything I do, and all the hard work it takes me to be where I am, they would follow in my footsteps. I've always been a hard worker in school, and have always pushed myself to my best in my academics. I am always interested in learning more and furthering my knowledge. I always want the satisfaction of doing work on my own and not cheating. I have always been honest with my schoolwork and would rather fail an assignment than get a grade I don't deserve. I am always thinking about the future of my academics to achieve what I desire in this world. My favorite action of service I have taken was the 2017 Summer Service Trip. I attended this through the school, and really made a difference. We painted offices, locker rooms, and benches. We moved furniture in classes and innovated new spaces throughout our school. I was extremely proud of the difference I made and plan to attend again. Another act of service I really enjoy is a Special Olympic training class taken part at the Hockessin Athletic Club. I help Special Olympic athletes train to become better athletes and people.
