Newked Marketing Executive Summary

Newked Marketing is an Internet marketing/consulting business located in the United States. The primary mission of the company is to assist its clientele market it’s products and services using many of the different platforms on the Internet. Newked Marketing creates, implements, and maintains the actionable steps within a strategic process that helps grow the client’s revenue. The business has been around for three years and has a small contingent of employees that has helped facilitate the growth of the company in a short period of time. Newked Marketing provides monthly services based upon the objectives of the client and bills the client each month for those services. Newked Marketing’s clientele mostly fall in the B2B category of business.

The United Kingdom is an international trading power, ranked fifth in the world for economies, and in 2015 the GDP boasted $2.9 Trillion (export.gov, 2017). This means that any business starting up in the United Kingdom has a very good chance to be successful just as it would in the United States. Conducting business abroad in another country creates many different difficulties but it can be made easier if that business is primarily Internet based. With that being said, this also means that the country should have a sound communications infrastructure and Internet presence. As one can imagine, it would be very difficult running an Internet based business without a strong infrastructure such as communications and Internet service. Another source I could use for research would be the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI). Even though the SBRI website is a U.K. government website, they don’t have as much detail about how my specific industry could approach conducting business in the country. The SBRI website would be a good resource but it doesn’t provide as much information as the Export website does. It was very difficult to locate numbers, figures, and statistical data that I could use for making an informed business decision in the country. Another resource I could use would be to call the U.S. Consulate in the U.K. and see if they had any recommendations I could use to conduct anymore
