However, one can conclude that non for profit firms face some disadvantages when compared to for-profit firms. They have a harder access to capital, the (lack) efficiency in their operations when compared to the for profit, and the speed with which they enter and grow expanding markets just to name a few.

All of these chapters are members of oikos International. Oikos international, a Swiss association serves as an umbrella organization for all other departments. The funding and establishment of long-term goals and guidance is done through the oikos Foundation. All these departments are managed by an international team which is in St. Gallen. The mission of oikos Copenhagen
Oikos Copenhagen is the biggest oikos chapter around the world. It is comprised of about 50 youngsters working towards a mission: to strengthen the action competence for sustainable development among young decision makers.
In order to reach the organizations’ objective, the oikees work towards increasing awareness for various sustainability opportunities and challenges, use their ability not only to analyze long-term environmental, economics, and social trends, but also implement solutions and innovations. They also try to create as much institutional support for these learning processes. They do this through integrating sustainability issues in research and teaching at the world’s most prominent business schools and universities for economics and management.
