As a new diversity of students in the nursing program increase, the more different learning styles will need to be implemented into nursing programs. The three main known learning styles include auditory, visual, and tactile (kinesthetic) in which nurse educators can utilize these learning styles in the classroom setting. It is imperative for nurse educators first to evaluate the students learning style, to incorporate them into their curriculum to create a more effective learning environment for the nursing students (Young & Seibenhener, 2018).

Within this course will include a group of ten graduated nursing students, in which the students will describe the different leadership strategies and demonstrate a leadership strategy through role-playing, that can include making decisions, delegating properly, resolving conflict professionally, and behaving with integrity (Nursing Times, 2015). The students will identify these leadership traits by the end of the course with a written exam as well. Nonetheless, the graduated nursing students will demonstrate the completion of the course with a grade of 80% and complete their role play with a practice of four sessions of each leadership strategy within thirty minutes (Hodell, …show more content…

Agenda Content:
10 minutes:
Students and Instructor introduction, students will explain the purpose of taking this course.
30 minutes (obj 1):
Students will learn the different leadership strategies in nursing.
10 minutes (obj 2):
Students will participate in a group discussion on the leadership strategies.
10 minutes: Break
60 minutes (obj 3): Instructor will continue to define making decisions, delegating properly, resolving conflict professionally, and behaving with integrity in the nursing workforce.
10 minutes (obj 3): Work as a group to form a paragraph for each leadership strategy on how to demonstrate these traits as a nurse leader.
10 minute: Break
30 minutes: Assessment (obj 4) Practice all positive traits of leadership strategies in nursing through role-playing within thirty minutes.
30 minutes: Assessment (obj 4) Evaluation of students role-playing assigned to different groups.
10 minute: Break
30 minutes (obj 5): Class written exam and completion of the course.
