Outline: Should Obesity be Acknowledged by the Government or be an Individual Situation?
I. Introduction: Americans should eliminate their consumption of fast food products, because eating unhealthy can cause your health to deteriorate. In Texas, adult obesity is 29.2%; therefore, it is one of the highest-ranking states for being overweight and obese.
a. In the United States, a major health-care problem is obesity. The majority of the U.S population eats at McDonald’s at least once a month” Washington Post, 2011). If we don’t take care of this issue, the percentage of obesity is going to continue to ascend.

Rendering to Health 24, data shows that all over the globe, obesity has increased dramatically, that they created the word, Globesity, just for this outrageous problem within humanity.
b. With more than 1.4 billion adults overweight and more than half a billion obese, obesity has become one of the most serious public health challenges of the 21st century.
c. For instance, the government should outlaw sugar, and introduce natural sweetener, such as Stevia, which is recommended by most doctors. ii. Although fattening sugar is much cheaper, we should be cautious about our health, because the 21st is becoming lazier and overweight by the minute. It’s insane how people don’t care how they look or feel.
III. According to statistics, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated that obesity is a controllable factor; it just depends on the individual, and how determined they are to stay in shape.
d. However, a lot of people blame the government, saying that they have the money to enforce exercising programs within every job
IV. In McAllen, Texas, obesity has become a major health issue over the years. About 38.5% of our population is obsessed due to the fact that they don’t take care of
