Patient satisfaction survey is essential to helping run an effective and efficient health care practice. Patient feedback is a great assessment tool to understand patient satisfaction as it helps make decision to the practice workflow. According to Chavez (n.d.) a well-designed survey can be a powerful tool. It is important to identify and know the objective of why the survey is being conducted. For healthcare organization most questions are based on the overall patient satisfaction because it is an important indicator for measuring quality in health care. Patient satisfaction affects the overall practice mission and goals, which is providing effective and efficient care.
Most patient survey question is based on the overall office atmosphere from the moment patient make an appointment to the time patient arrives to the office for their visit. Most patient may be happy with the office staff but is not happy with the provider, thus this will cause patient to turn somewhere else to receive care.
