Personal Mission Statement

Vision statements are goal-oriented set of plans that apply differently to everyone. My personal vision is to improve racial tensions within my community by implementing spiritually and educational discussions in an open community setting. By improving on these two aspects of spiritually and education it will have a better impact on my community moving forward. This will lead to an open dialogue and a more transparent community. By employing spirituality, individuals with in the community are more likely to enter a conversation in a positive manner instead of negative. Spirituality no matter the religion is the basis of discussion it will bring communities together. Spirituality will keep individuals in the community grounded and focused on

My mission statement is to get connected with community leaders, political leaders, and law enforcement leaders. These connections can be created by the use of social media, calling officials or writing a letter. Any attempt displaying a connection, demonstrates my organization is serious in deescalating racial tensions with in the community. A next step would be to gather community leaders and create strategies on encourage individuals on being more tolerant of one each other. An example of a strategy would be pressuring policymakers to implement laws that force psychological evaluations among police officers at end of each month. By applying this strategy individuals with in the police department will be more knowledgeable and aware of the racial problems. A personal blog or site can be created to broadcast my organizations positive message of progressive change. My organizations webpage will promote a cooperative progressive message that does not exclude any particular race or gender.
