My interest in business has been ubiquitous since I was in junior high school. I found myself seeking a deeper understanding of how businesses are managed, how retail outlets are laid out, and how companies market their product and service offerings to customers on different media, functions and processes that take place in different organizational departments. In multiple occasions, my parents, teachers and close friends remarked that I would make a good CEO due to the good management skills I displayed in my assignments at home and school. In school clubs and associations, I was often recommended to take up roles that involved mobilizing and handling of finances. I would handle these roles with great efficiency and nothing placed within my responsibility went wrong. Consequently, I have carried out personal research on what a degree in business management entails and how it is compatible with my career objectives. A degree in business management will help me to augment my knowledge on how organizations are operated and managed. I look forward to learning about the management of service and manufacturing businesses in the purview of both domestic and international markets. Acquiring skills in accounting, finance, marketing, and human resource management will be a great milestone as I look forward to becoming a versatile entrepreneur and investor. If I am to become the future Warrant Buffet or Howard Schultz, it will be imperative to understand how markets operate, how to manage people from diverse backgrounds, business policy and strategy. There is no other course that can afford me an opportunity to acquire these insights other than enrolling for a business management course in world-class
