As an inspiring and dedicated young woman I want to be a nurse because I am entertain by the science aspect of it. I am always eager to learn and to make a difference in someone’s life. Growing up I was always interested in the healthcare. Having the opportunity to assist my mother when taking care of his patient as a nurse made me more passionate and wanted to help, and care for people. Throughout the years my passion for nursing grew a lot more during grandmother’s sickness. She is diabetic, she has High Blood Pressure, and she also has High Cholesterol. She was hospitalizing at the Brigham and Women hospital. Every time I came to visit her, it was always a pleasure for me to assist the nurses providing care for her. They are such a great team and very nice people. Seeing how they took their time to take care of her touches my heart. I said to myself “When I become a nurse I want to be part of this team”. Working closely with patients to secure their safety, my ability to communicate, listen, and provide care for patients have improved. I learn to remain calm and polite when dealing with stressful situations. Consequently, I feel that I am a good fit for this position for I am a passionate, dedicated, and responsible young woman.
