Nurses are people that help other people that are sick or hurt. The school I want to go to is Duke University. It is ranked #1 in nursing schools. Going to this school is important because they are a successful school, they are committed to helping the students, and the U.S. News said they were the #1 nursing school. There are many reasons why being a nurse can make an impact on people's everyday lives. The first reason I want to be a nurse is because I get to help people. I would get to make people get better when they're sick or hurt. Another reason I want to be a nurse is because you get to go to many different locations. I can work in urban hospitals, suburban doctors’ offices, on Indian reservations, or Alaskan outposts. I would get to travel …show more content…

The first reason I want to go to this school is because according to Duke University’s website it said it was the, “#1 best graduate school for nursing.”All schools have a specialty in something, and Duke university's specialty is nursing. Another reason I want to go to this school is because according to the Duke Nursing Alumni Council President named Donna Allen said, “Duke University School of Nursing presents a prosperous and generous role in the comprehensive education of their nurses.” Duke University is a college that I can go to to succeed in getting my nurses degree, which is needed to be a nurse. The last reason I want to go to this school is because according to the Duke University website it said, “We are interested in remembrances and stories about your time at the School of Nursing, as well as anything you think would be of interest to Duke Nursing Alumni.” This is a good school to go to because Duke University likes to hear about people’s experience and they enjoy having students that give them good feedback.
