Relationship building is one of the most important personal characteristic needed from employees today. Having strong relationships with coworkers not only improves teamwork and employee morale, but it also increases employee productivity. Building relationships are what I do best. I am a driven developer. I cultivate and recognize the potential in others as I also notice improvements, even if they are small. I don't enjoy conflict, for I am constantly seeking areas where problems can be resolved. I use my skill of empathy to "put myself in someone else's shoes", as they say, by sensing the feelings of others. As a child, while my sisters were inside playing with their dolls, I was outside looking under logs to find salamanders and toads. I would wander deep into the woods far enough away from my home that I couldn't hear my parents call me in for dinner. I would lay under the willow tree out by our pond, watching the droopy leaves sway in the summer breeze. Nothing smelled better than that fresh breeze. I spent my summers on the lakes of Northern Michigan fishing and swimming. The number of frogs, turtles, and tadpoles caught in my net dwindled as I grew in age and it wasn't until I matured where I understood why that happened. Understanding what was happening in my home state is what grew my passion for sustainability. Being with nature is where I feel most myself, as I seek total serenity. The earth is shifting so drastically since I have noticed a negative change in the environment over my twenty-year inexperienced life. I strive to combine my 6 years of business experience with my passion for nature, to consult businesses by helping them reduce their ecological footprint while increasing their productivity. I, so eagerly want to dedicate my career to restore the earth and bring it back to what it used to be, so that my children, too, can go outside searching for salamanders and toads and relax under a willow tree, like I once
