My internships and job helped me grasp the importance of experiential learning. The people I worked with came from diverse backgrounds and interactions with them helped me appreciate the importance of diversity in collaborative thinking. As a result, the quantum of knowledge I gained while working on live navigation systems was unprecedented. The Texas MBA offers me a chance to acquire valuable skills with experiential learning opportunities like the MBA+ Leadership program and the fellow program amidst a geographically and functionally diverse peer group. Growing up in a family of engineers and managers has provided me a chance to appreciate the importance of leadership and managerial skills.
