It’s time to examine yourself in a deep way and look at your personality! Step one, take a personality test to get a closer look at who you are, your strengths and weaknesses, and other random tidbits you might have previously not known about yourself. Then we will try to use this information in a way that can help us improve our lives in different ways. From how we behave to how we react in social situations, we can be aware of who we really are and how others see us. The first personality test I took was the Keirsey. After many different questions with only two options for answers, it was determined that I am an Artisan. Some of the traits of an artisan are fun loving, optimistic, realistic, and focused on the here and now. They are also unconventional, bold, and spontaneous. They are playful mates, creative parents, and troubleshooting leaders. Finally they are excitable, trust their impulses, want to make a splash, seek stimulation, prize freedom, and dream of mastering action skills. The next personality test I took was the Jung. This one didn’t cover as broad of a spectrum, but here are some of the things. These tests all said the same thing. If it’s predictable and repetitive, I will soon lose interest. I guess I really should put some more serious thought into what I really want to do. As far as my behavior goes, I thought it generally matched, with few surprises. A few seemed a little off like excitable and easily stressed. However these tests can’t be 100% perfect because while many people have similar personalities, they are still all a little different. Another one was to just enjoy life, day by day.
