The Strengths Finder Assessment is a test that scores with five strengths that you possess. These strengths will help you reach full potential with any career that you go into. These five strengths can be very beneficial in helping an individual be successful. After taking the assessment, I was scored with Deliberative, Context, Futuristic, Restorative, and Individualization.
On 22nd of the October we assessed the other group members and found the following outcomes, which include a lot of improvements in Knowledge, skills and abilities. The different outcomes of the tasks are as follows: • HUYEN- Bottle feeding For assessing this group member we gave her the task to perform was “Bottle feeding”.
I noticed that the majority of my themes centered around thinking and problem-solving. However, empathy was also represented. These results capture my strengths fairly accurately. I tend to be cerebral while leading while maintaining emotional attunement. Five Voices
In the FD2 essays is where I had to do the most adjustments. Overall, I had a good central and sub claim, but I needed to fix my development, analysis, and organization. For the organization the professor said, “Need to connect concept of protesting to central claim.” I try to apply this feedback by trying to explain how the reaction that police has towards protest of blacks and whites is completely different. I explain how when whites protest the police just waited until the whole protest ease down, but when blacks protest police immediately use force and aggression to stop them.
In my opinion I display characteristics of the Enterprising, Conventional, and Social Occupational Themes. I am lead to this opinion by agreement with the descriptions of both Enterprising and Conventional themes. The Strong Interest Inventory Assessment I completed stated Enterprising theme potential skills as “verbal ability, ability to motivate and direct others.” I have been able to motivate and direct others through management, volunteer work, coaching, and many other activities in my life. I enjoy being able to envision, direct, and see an idea or project come together.
I sat down and started thinking about what I wanted to do with the rest of my life and what my passions were. A few things came to mind, but I decided on a few main principles that I wanted to continue in any future career I decided to have. The first one is that I want to help people. I believe the best way to feel fulfilled in my life would be to devote it to helping others. The second principle is that I want to use Spanish in my day-to-day life.
The StrengthsQuest assessment allows individuals to identify their core strengths based on the answers to the questionnaire. After taking the assessment, my five themes include: adaptability, responsibility, strategic, relator, and maximizer. After better understanding these themes and how they relate to my life, I can connect them with my personal and work life. Adaptability
2. During my placement I have completed various types of assignments and research. When doing my agency profile I have researched the policies and standards of Extendicare. I have also co-facilitated in programs such a pong cup, fishing game an beauty session where I worked with the recreation staff and demonstrate my facilitation skills to help the group members of these activities have a fun session. When being a co-facilitator I have an opportunity work with another facilitator such as Chantal or James.
The Process of Reflection The process of reflection is central to clinical supervision. Launer (2003) describes external and internal factors in supervision whereby clinical practice and sharing skills are external and reflection is an ‘internal conversation.’ Brunero & Stein-Parbury (2008) discussed the effects of clinical supervision in nursing staff and argued that self-reflection generates a sense of self-awareness and knowledge to the individual. Supervisees or students may be asked what happened during a clinical event, how they felt, the implications of their actions and what they would do differently if faced with the same situation.
Cooperating Lesson Plan Reflection The artifact was developed and implemented for two kindergarten students from the ages of five to six years old. The subject taught in the artifact is reading. The classroom setting is a resource room with varying grade levels and exceptionalities. ENC 1102 was a challenging course I had to overcome. As I was walking into class day by day, I learned and picked up something new each day. I considered myself a low-skilled writer, but after this class I can say I’ve improved my writing techniques tremendously. Although this class didn’t teach me everything I wished, this course did teach me how to research, how to write a thesis statement, and open/closed form essays, which I would carry throughout my career.
A. OBJECTIVE AND THEORETICAL BACKGROUND In this individual reflective report, I will discuss how the Consulting Project course gave me opportunities to experience, explore and evaluate the real-life business case, how it strengthen my practical business knowledge, problem solving and leadership skills, and how the learning process will support my personal development goals. To help structure my reflective report, I will apply the Kolb’s model of reflection which we learned from the LPDCM course. After seeing the strong interest inventory report, I am not surprised by my results. It was pretty much what I had expected. Among the six general occupational themes, I learned that the three I scored the highest in were conventional (C), social (S), and enterprising (E). I scored highest in the conventional theme because it is the one that most accurately reflects my work personality. As a matter of fact, I am an organized person.
