How would you react if you woke up with chemicals, blood and wires all over you? I know I would feel uncomfortable and treated unfairly; just imagine having to go through many tests that are not even for your own benefit. I believe that we should put an end to animal testing. Animals don't deserve to be living a difficult life because animals and humans can be similar but also different, animals should be able to have rights just like humans, and we can even replace animals with other existing alternatives.

Animals and humans may be very similar, but they also very different. According to ProCon.org, “Paul Furlong, Professor of Clinical Neuroimaging at Aston University (UK), states that ‘it's very hard to create an animal model that even equates closely to what we're trying to achieve in the human.’’ Animal test results may seem reliable, but it can lead to serious damage to humans, which will be misleading to scientists. Around 90% of drugs are beneficial to animals, but don’t pass human tests. Reported by Dr. Richard Klausner “We have cured mice of cancer for decades and it simply didn’t work in Humans”. According to Lone Star College “When humans decide the fate of animals in research environments, the animals' rights are taken away without any thought of their well-being or the quality of their lives”. When scientist test on animals, the animal’s rights are being diminished without the thought of their lives.
