Many students at Coalgate Schools come home everyday with so much homework that it sometimes takes four to five hours to complete, which put stress on students, parents, and teachers. A way is needed to help with the stress and the homework. So, the best way to help the teachers, parents, and, most of all, the students would be a study hall. To begin, a study hall will help the parents. Some parents won't have to come home and stop what they are doing to help their kids with their math, reading, or english homework. Most parents have not had school in so many years that they are afraid to check over their kids homework to see if it is right, because they might get it wrong. Most teachers want students to start doing their homework because they know that what they are teaching them is important in life. So, if Coalgate Schools had a study hall that will help the teachers know that most students are doing their homework. Teachers wouldn't have to give out so many zeros. The teachers would also not have to give out as many detentions to students who didn't do their homework. There would be less students on the eligible list which would benefit the school and the principal. Most importantly, a study hall will help the students. If a study hall was installed it would help many of the students have extra time to study for test or do homework. It would also give student extra time after school to go to games, practices for a game coming up, or hanging with friends. Also, students would not have to stress about getting all their homework done in one night. Some parents say that students would not take it serious and misbehave. Even if Coalgate School did not have a study a hall some students are still going to misbehave in class. But a way that the staff could fix it would be if a student did misbehave that privilege would go away and students would not get it anymore, or make it an extra class and only students who want it, could take
