Legalizing Marijuana for Medical reasons
Why do some people think that alcohol could do less damage than marijuana or that cigarettes don’t do as much harm like marijuana does? Just because something is legal doesn’t make it any better, or less harmful. Marijuana should be legalized so it can be used legally as a medicine around the nation. Marijuana can change a person’s health status if they need it to help them cure their diseases. “Medical Marijuana” can refer to a treatment that can treat a disease or symptoms, but with the whole unprocessed marijuana plant or its basic extracts. Marijuana can be very useful in many kinds of ways. The legalization of marijuana would rapidly change our economy because people would be able to purchase them and get them prescribed for medical reasons.

The THC gives the feeling of euphoria and a high feeling it contains a good amount of pain- relieving characteristics. Marijuana is said to be the leading cause of substance dependence other than alcohol in the U.S. in 2008. Marijuana could be an abusive drug, or over used in the U.S and around the world but it can be used as medicine and can be prescribed to people as treatment so it can help them reduce their problems with health issues. If marijuana were to be legalized it would probably not only be limited to adults, but teenagers would use it more, and it would be easier for anyone to have a hold of it and just smoke it. It would probably cause minors to use it more, or more minors would want to try it since it would be legal to smoke and it wouldn’t affect them if someone would catch them smoking since it wouldn’t be an illegal drug anymore. If a minor would try marijuana and like the feeling of getting high then it could possibly cause them to turn to a drug that gives them a better feeling, it wouldn’t be good for minors if marijuana became
