Millions of animals suffer in the name of research every year worldwide. Animals and humans are not made up the same way though and therefore the products tested on animals do not produce always actuate result. But humans and animals are made up in the same in the fact that they both bleed, feel pain, suffer, and we both have the will to survive. Ranking animal cruelty is hard because it all evil, but to constantly torture an animal in the name of science is definitely in the top. Scientific advances have lead us to successfully clone’s human skin, but we still feel the need to test on hopeless animals to create nonscientific results. Today many tests involving them, involve them receiving cancer, AIDS, and other diseases. There has recently been new guide lines, inspired by other countries regulations, that will decrease the number of chimps used and force them to be retired lab rats. But even when retired they are most often confided in cages by themselves where they exhibit unusual behavior and have even been diagnose with depression and PTSD. Besides these new guidelines, that will not even safe all the tortured chimpanzees, the United States has no other regulations against testing. The EU has now banded animal testing for cosmetic products as well as banning imported products from other countries that have used animal testing. Croatia and Israel are places who took the EU’s example not much after as the animal testing movement globalized. Both countries with cosmetics, have also banned household and other personal care products that were tested. Beside no regulation in other countries, there is no international law about the trade of animal tested products as they can easily be imported anywhere in the
