What if someone said that we will have school all throughout the summer? How would people react and let their emotions get the best of them? What would people say towards the thought of having school year-round? Many people could say that the idea of having year-round school lets their emotions get to them at the saying of having school all year-round before actually knowing the details behind it. We can see from the research shown of the many aspects of having school year-round. First, students gain and use more learning retention that helps them succeed more in school. Next, students' test scores have improved significantly with having school all year-round because they are understanding more of what they are being taught in school. It gives them more time to ask questions and truly know what they are being taught. Last, the students and teachers get more breaks and longer breaks with being in school all year-round. Longer breaks give the opportunity to still be able to not just be in school all the time. It is very important to consider having school all year-round because it has great benefits for the teachers and students. With all of that being said, don't automatically think of all the bad of not having a summer vacation and having school all year-round, because when all the details are known it's not really that bad. It actually benefits the students because they learn more and remember it and their test scores and grades will be better.
