Academic dishonesty can lead to consequences depending on the policy of the university. According to Colorado Technical University (2014), if your caught committing academic dishonesty three times, you will be dismiss from the college. Plagiarism can also affect people in the workplace. For example, Jayson Blair known he was going to get fired from The Times because of the accusation of plagiarism (Barry et al., 2003). He resigned from Times and never returned to a journalism.
