Plagiarism Should Not Be The Same For Three Students

After carefully reading all three scenarios and reviewing the reasons why plagiarism took place, I came to the conclusion that they all had to pay some type of consequence. However, The consequences should not be the same for all three students. When a student enroll in school, one of the first things they are inform is the policy related to plagiarism and taught is what is plagiarism, why it not acceptable, and ways to prevent it. Sadly, to say that plagiarism is something every students is aware of not doing it, and at the same time is something that is easily done.

The consequences for the students are as follow:

Student 1: He will received the highest consequence of all. The result of his action would be receiving an "F" for the class and not been allowed to register for at least one semester. This consequence is due to the lack of integrity the student displayed. According to Walden, Academic Integrity, section 5, Cheating, "Allowing others to do an assignment or portion of an assignment, including the use of a commercial term paper is consider cheating"(Walden). Furthermore, it defines cheating as " fraud, deceit ,or dishonesty in an academic assignment"(Walden). To me this was an act of laziness from the student. His priorities were not lined up correctly.
