According to the National Center for Law and Economic Justice (NCLEJ) in the United State there is 46.5 million people living under poverty. That’s means every one of six people in the Untied State are living in poverty. Poverty affect a person’s education and remove the opportunities to do something with their life, affect their health and also poverty affect the United States economy. We should provide more resources and financial help for those who lives under poverty line. There are more than 30 million children living in poverty. Children that live in a family that has low-income or live under the poverty line don’t live for their full potential. They have less opportunity in life than those who live in higher income families. Children living in poverty are mostly not ready for primary schooling. When people suffer from stress it takes away your ability to fight off disease because your nervous and endocrine system influence your immune system (Myers 394). People can’t afford to go the doctor and have a regular check up on their health. There are 38.1% of Americans that are poor and don’t have any kind of medical care. Gallup says “Americans in poverty are also significantly less likely than those who are not in poverty to say it is easy to find a safe place to exercise, easy to get affordable fresh fruits and vegetables, and easy to get medicine in the city or area where they live.” People that live poverty area don’t have many resource to buy their medicine, healthy food or find a place to exercise are higher risk to get a illness and they are not going to be able health them
