In our world today, a place full of many bittersweet moments, many people suffer from poverty. People are greatly affected by poverty whether it be major or minor, as the rich are getting richer the poor are getting poorer. Falling into poverty negatively affects people’s health, education, and families. As humans, smartest mammals with the biggest heart, we should care about the health and wellbeing of those around us and of course for ourselves too.
It is hard to maintain a healthy and sanitary lifestyle when you are stuck in poverty. {Constantly busy trying to find a way to get out of poverty, it obviously takes away time to provide a clean environment for the family.} This inflicts a negative effect upon their physical and mental health. By having these three things as an economy we can support American families. Although we need long term jobs, short-term jobs can help us get a jump start. Of the many people with talents and skills that are in need of work, there are people who need food, homes, and education. There are also communities that need bike lanes, rapid transit, renewable and reliable sources of energy, and rebuilt bridges and water systems. The communities could create and finance green and sustainable jobs which in return could help fulfill the community’s and the people’s needs. {To help them be successful while also giving them positive feedback in order to motivate them and build confidence, we could start off by creating organizations that focus on teaching the people who are suffering from poverty-efficient work ethics and ways to improve their skill sets and help them find something they are good at.} By changing or adding rules around in some organizations that are for the needy, we can improve the function and purpose of the organizations.
