There’s pros and cons to animal testing, but it saves human and animals life, so, therefore, it is necessary. The following essay will go over: animal testing laws, the animals body, and animal research facts. There’s many laws that pertain to medical research on animals. The United States government will shut down many medical treatments, unless they have been tested on animals. The law does require animal testing, before giving any types of cancer drugs (Chang, 3). “Animals, especially mammals are very similar to humans.” (Chang, 2). There are other ways we could experiment, like computer models. However, there are many benefits from using animals, because animals give us real life results (Chang, 2).
