“The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to indifferent to them: that’s the essence of inhumanity”. Humans test things on animals to make sure their product does not have any weird effects. These tests are extremely dangerous and are not safe. The experiments are not safe for animals, because the experiments can kill them, the tests are not always accurate, and it costs huge amount of money to perform these tests.
Although animal testing does find side effects in their products, However the experiments can kill the animal. “ 100 million animals—including mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and birds—are killed in U.S. laboratories for biology lessons, medical training, curiosity-driven experimentation, and chemical, drug, food, and cosmetics testing”. Says the author of peta the website.
This shows that these experiments are lethal and very dangerous. This is important because millions of animals are dying from this. “Before their deaths, some are forced to inhale toxic fumes, others are immobilized in restraint devices for hours, some have holes drilled into their skulls, and others have their skin burned off or their spinal cords crushed”. Said by the same article.
This shows that they don’t just kill them they torture them. This is

“If humans' closest relative — humans and chimpanzees share up to 98 percent of their genes — is not useful for human research, why would any other species be”? Said by the NIH policy. This shows that the tests are not always right. It is important because they are running these tests for nothing. There are too many variables in anatomy, gene expression, metabolism, immune functioning, etc. This means that we are not the same as the animals. Is really important because they are getting the wrong data from these tests. Animals may be close to humans but they are not the
