Its about the change. “He jiggles,” they laughed, “look at the way he walks.” The man was named George he walked into McDonald’s as he does every day. He waddles straight to the counter and orders his food. “Can I get the super extra-large diet Pepsi? Also, a supersized extra greasy big mac and large fry.” The worker gives George the high calorie meal with a smile on her face unaware of the danger behind it. Many people in America are like George, Even you! Taking in hundreds of calories to satisfy cravings. Although it doesn’t seem so bad to eat the way we do, it does eventually take its toll. Yet, there is a solution. The government is putting in motion to limit portions and regulate food intake at restaurants to help the issue. In many eyes, this could be a good thing, with the change we will be known as a “Healthier America” ; encourage businesses to make better choices for their menus; and let’s face it you will feel better knowing that what goes in your body, at the right amount, is all good. …show more content…

This is almost a known fact, that America is full of large people, yet, people still choose the sugary high calorie drinks over the healthier option. By decreasing the amount of options people will have at restaurants it will motivate them to choose a healthy option over
