In my life critical thinking could be beneficial in many different circumstances. Critically thinking is described in Asking the Right Questions as to having an awareness of a set of interrelated evaluative questions with the ability or willingness to ask and answer them in a certain time frame. This thinking comes about from activates that evoke an in-depth evaluation based on an awareness of questions and the want to utilize skills previously learned. When we take this definition and apply it to our lives it is hard to predict how we will go forward with this information, but easy to look back and nit pick the past. Present day we just take it one day at a time and try our best. In my personal life knowing the protocol of critical thinking might be beneficial in the way I go about making decisions. To be able to step back and watch each decision play out before I make them. Seeing in my mind’s eye if I say yes, this will happen and if I say no, this will happen. Being able to predict the effect from whatever cause I pick and how those choices may affect my life after. We can’t make all our decisions based on the bubble that we have been sheltered in. Our decisions must be based on strong critical thinking not weak thinking which as described in Asking the Right Questions is defending your current beliefs instead of trying to understand others. This collection of information and opinions will help us form our own and not rely on what we are told to believe. Aspects of our lives involve deep consideration and the more information we have in our trove and at our disposal helps us to make these decisions the most educated way possible instead of just doing it blindly or by luck of the
