Ray Bradburyś short story All Summer in a Day is the story of a dystopian colony on the neighboring planet Venus. It follows the story of a class of nine year olds who haven't seen the sun for seven years. It tells how they act around a girl who came from earth when she was four. In the story readers learn that jealousy can lead people to do something they otherwise wouldn't do. First, in the story it shows the children's jealousy builds up over time.
